This position has four openings, one for each area of the GORR region, this includes Tacoma, Yakima, Longview, and the Olympic Peninsula. Working with other Navigators in a team approach, each Digital Navigator will provide individualized assistance both remotely and in-person to vulnerable individuals who lack digital literacy skills, access to computing devices, or internet. The Digital Navigators have a critical role that carries out the goals of a short term grant funded by the Department of Commerce to bring digital skills and literacy and laptops to people throughout this Goodwill’s 15 county region in Washington. This person will be based in Cowlitz County. Working with community partners and federal, state and local funding organizations, Goodwill’s workforce development team meets individuals where they are and helps them move forward through training, work and the provision of supportive services.
